Smartopia to Life – Tampines

The ChildFirst @ Tampines K2 children have imagined, designed and built their very own future city and they are thrilled to introduce the three vibrant zones that bring Smartopia to life!

First up is the Grow & Glow Gardens, lovingly tended by Farmer Mini (Alpha Mini). This lush corner of Smartopia features the children’s hydroponic setups, inspired by their recent field trip to the City Sprouts Hydroponic Station. Here, they discovered how plants grow without soil, how cities can stay green, and how nature can flourish even in urban spaces.

Next is the Power-Up Park, energised by Artec, who zips around delivering energy capsules powered by solar panels and wind turbines. With Artec’s help, the children created imaginative energy sources and structures that keep Smartopia bright and bustling.

Finally, welcome to the Eco Loop Hub, guided by Kubo the Eco Navigator, who moves through the city collecting recyclables and promoting greener habits. Through Kubo, the children explored the importance of caring for the environment and building a sustainable future.

Together, these three zones showcase the children’s creativity, teamwork and thoughtful vision of a smart, sustainable city. Smartopia is their proud creation and we can’t wait for everyone to experience it!
