Special thanks to all the teachers and staff of ChildFirst preschool for their utmost love and care to my children. What we liked about the school:Facilities: 1. The school provides fresh quality in house cooked food with lots of variety, meals that don’t repeat throughout the same week 2. Cleanliness of the center and children toiletsCurriculum: 1. Breadth of learning from English to Chinese and exposure to technology 2. Development of useful gross motor skills, e.g. cycling 3. Broad based theme and learning. Many of their activities surprised usSafety: 1. All activities are carried out without the need to step out of the school premises, with the exception of outdoor walk and excursion tripsMost notably, we find that our kids are passionate to try new things. Hopefully, they will be able to carry this trait of continued learning moving forward.

The three reasons I chose ChildFirst without attending other preschools’ open houses were: 1) My nieces and nephew who attended ChildFirst praised the food and how fun it was to go to school. 2) We lived within a 10-minute walk of ChildFirst. 3) We liked the Chinese programme the school curated.ChildFirst uses the latest app to ensure smooth communication with parents, plans celebrations to help children appreciate different cultures, and enhances activities at every level to prepare children for primary school. I have noticed that my son has a solid interest in and good command of Chinese. The school also teaches a third subject — coding and its own AI programmes, such as AI Chinese and AI Math, to track performance and knowledge levels.My younger child enjoyed the activities ChildFirst has planned for her. I was impressed that her teacher reached out to me even before she started school to ask in detail about her routine, needs, and temperament to help her adjust — physical, intellectual, emotional, and social.Thank you for giving them such a strong and wonderful start!

The curriculum is the same and something we really appreciate, and my daughter's transition to a new school has been quite seamless.
My daughter transferred here from ChildFirst @ Mountbatten which has since ceased operations. The curriculum is the same and something we really appreciate, and my daughter's transition to a new school has been quite seamless. She says she likes how big the school is and the indoor playground is much bigger. All classrooms have large windows allowing natural light in which is extremely important for their eyes.

Our daughter is just entering N1 and she’s enjoying her time at school everyday! We are very thankful for the teachers’ guidance, care and support for our precious little one! Shoutout to Song Laoshi, Ms Farah, He Laoshi, Ms Emily, Chen Huan Laoshi and Ms Amalia for taking great care of our daughter so far! She always speaks very fondly of her teachers and is getting much better at conveying her thoughts, sharing her experiences + lessons + games in school. Song Laoshi and Ms Farah, having spent the most amount of time with her, are definitely her favourite people in school at the moment! Ms Ria and Ms Maira, P & VP, have both been supportive and engaging wherever possible, checking in if there is anything the parents need help with.Of course, not forgetting one of the most crucial staff members, Ms Joanne! From a shy toddler who whispered during show-and-tell to a confident young girl who steps onto any stage with courage.
From PN to K2, ChildFirst truly became our daughter’s second home. We still remember her very first childcare experience — how challenging that first week was, and how we eventually withdrew her after noticing several red flags. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as it led us here, where we watched our girl grow in ways we never imagined.From a shy toddler who whispered during show-and-tell to a confident young girl who steps onto any stage with courage — presentations, competitions, storytelling, and even emceeing a concert in front of 300 people — our hearts are so full.Robotics and coding sparked a genuine interest in her, and the opportunities to participate in National and International Robotics Competitions were truly unforgettable. Her Mandarin also blossomed, thanks to a well-balanced and thoughtful curriculum that supported her growth in both languages.Most importantly, we are deeply grateful to the teachers who guided her from PN through K2. My daughter was fully engaged in all the activities, and it was clear she felt comfortable and excited...
On the second day in Ms Farah’s class, I was genuinely blown away. Ms. Farah was warm, attentive, and completely present — not just with my daughter, but with every child in the room. What impressed me was how naturally Ms Farah managed the class — gently guiding students when boundaries were crossed, while creating a safe, respectful space for them to explore and express themselves. She also had a very clear structure and flow to the class, with instructions that the children easily followed — it showed how well she sets a calm, supportive tone for the whole group. My daughter was fully engaged in all the activities, and it was clear she felt comfortable and excited to participate. Watching all of this firsthand gave me such confidence and peace knowing my daughter is under Ms Farah’s care."

We are truly happy and grateful to have chosen ChildFirst @ Hillview for our son. Part of the focus of ChildFirst is they teach in trilingual courses, namely English, Chinese and Coding Languages.
We started our child in February 2025 and have been very impressed with it.We noticed our child looking very happy and enjoying school compared to past experiences where he did enjoy but it seems that he is a lot more looking forward to go to school.Parents get updated very consistently about our child’s activities in school and the teachers, Ms Anna and Liu Laoshi are both very caring and attentive teachers. They notice even the smallest things and will update us promptly on anything regarding our child.Parents are also invited to many updates and events and are also encouraged to participate with our child, and that is much appreciated.For our child, the teachers lined up many engaging and encouraging activities daily. Children also get to experience simple coding by prompting commands and instructions to robotics provided for by the school. One of the biggest reasons we chose ChildFirst is their unique curriculum. Unlike many other preschools we visited, they offer a structured half-day English and half-day Chinese immersion programme.
Our family has been with ChildFirst @ Hillview since March 2023, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience for both our girls. The teachers here have not only been educators but also caregivers who have gone above and beyond to support our girls during their early years.When our elder girl joined the school at 20 months old, she was still suffering from topical steroid withdrawal, which meant her skin required extra care and attention. We were understandably worried about how she would cope in a new environment, but the teachers were incredibly understanding and proactive. Miss Nisa and Ou Laoshi, in particular, took great care of her. They ensured our elder girl’s skin was properly looked after, applied her creams when needed, and kept a close eye on her comfort. They also communicated regularly with us to make sure everything was under control. Their patience and dedication made such a difference, and it was a huge relief to know our girl was in such caring hands.Our younger girl joined the school at 18 months old in January 2025, and she was naturally quite anxious. She cried a lot, as many little ones do when adjusting to a new environment. Miss Jey, who primarily took care of her, was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to comfort her, hold her when she needed reassurance, and gently ease her into the routine. Miss Jey’s warmth and patience were so evident, and it didn’t take long for our younger girl to feel at ease. Seeing her transition from tears to smiles was such a joy, and we’re so grateful for Miss Jey’s efforts in making her feel safe and secure. We were so comfortable with their previous location at Sime Darby Centre, and the new setting felt less ideal. In fact, we even explored other preschools in the area to see if there was a better fit. But after comparing curricula, teacher quality, and overall environments, we realised that ChildFirst still stood out. The location might not be perfect, but the quality of education and the dedication of the teachers more than make up for it.At the end of the day, we decided to stay because we trust the school and what they’re doing for our children. The curriculum is thoughtful, the teachers are exceptional, and our girls are thriving. While we wish the location were better, we know that what happens inside the classroom matters so much more. We’re grateful to have found a preschool that feels like a second home for our children, and we highly recommend ChildFirst @ Hillview to any parent looking for a nurturing, well-rounded, and forward-thinking early education experience.

ChildFirst is quite academic focused and they provide apps for children to work on after school to reinforce what they learned during the day.

ChildFirst is a true blue educational institution focused on developing well rounded students, rather than pure marketing and branding.
Before choosing this preschool, I went to many others in the vicinity, including more expensive and branded ones which my two older children attended. With children in primary school, I understand the rigour and requirements of primary 1 and beyond. For all preschools, I compared their K2 syllabus as a key criteria, to understand if the child would be prepared for primary school. ChildFirst excels in this area and more, for a very reasonable price.

My son is very active so it came as a shock when he was selected to compete at the national robotics competition.
Childfirst's English and Chinese curriculum is very good, they prepare the kids well ahead before starting primary 1. My son is very active so it came as a shock when he was selected to compete at the national robotics competition. However, we saw his full concentration and focus during the competition. It only proved that the teachers in Childfirst made learning enjoyable and my child could excel. Thank you to all the staff in Childfirst for their TLC and his teachers for being a great educator!

Under the wonderful leadership of Ms Pat and Xu-laoshi, ChildFirst @ Hillview truly embodies a holistic, well-balanced approach to education. The curriculum is thoughtfully crafted to nurture social-emotional skills, bilingualism, and tech savviness - including coding and AI! What impresses me is their commitment to embracing the latest AI and EdTech advances to create a tailored learning environment, including an AI-enhanced app developed in line with their in-house Mandarin curriculum for children to extend their learning outside school, which is very important for language learning given the dominance of English in the environment today.
The teachers are warm, passionate, and professional, with a genuine heart for education. Ms Pat and her team have been incredibly accommodating, working closely with us to meet our child's unique needs. Special thanks to Ms Stephanie, who has played a significant role in Ethan's growth into a confident, self-assured individual. He looks forward to school every day and will surely miss his friends and teachers when he moves on to Primary 1.
While probably not a consideration for most parents, one aspect that was important for us was their in-house meal preparation by the 'aunties' on staff. We like that this reinforces the value of appreciating the love and care that goes into meeting their basic needs and not to take it for granted, which would not be as relatable were the meals catered from a central kitchen.
We're also appreciative of the school's efforts to involve parents and family members in the children's lives through various bonding activities and celebrations. It's a testament to their dedication to building a strong community.

The close bonding and professional culture amongst the teachers filters down to care and nurturing of students. The school recently organised a robotics competition amongst the ChildFirst Pre-schools, I fully appreciate the great amount of effort put in by the school.
My child enjoys her learning and play at ChildFirst ever since she joined a few months ago. They recently shifted and the campus is brand new and spacious. Shoutout to her teachers Ms Jasmine and Zhang Laoshi who are both very committed and passionate about teaching and nurturing the children. Communication channels with the school and teachers are always very clear.

The teachers understand the development status of children of different ages, can look at each child fairly and objectively, discover their strengths, and establish effective communication with parents.
My child likes this school very much. It is a well-managed school with complete hardware and software. The teachers who have taught here for many years are very caring and responsible. The Chinese curriculum in particular is excellent and he finds primary school Chinese a breeze.
We chose to send our son, now in Primary 1, to the then King Albert Park(KAP) campus because of the curriculum and the caring nurturing environment. This was despite the fact that we lived closer to the Hillview area and after we had surveyed many schools in the area.

She is eager to go in everyday, and looks forward to the huge indoor playground and outdoor activities, in particular the new water play event.
We are very happy with how she has grown and flourished from N1 to K1 under the loving care of her teachers and exceptional leadership by the principal and vice principal of the center. Also appreciate the time and effort put into organising special events for the various festivals and celebrations (Mother's day, Father's day, Grandparents' day etc.).

We left when we moved 30 mins drive away. But came back within 2 days because no other child care comes close in letting us feel assured.
My daughter is happy at drop off and pick up. Love from the teachers, admin team and even the lovely cleaning staff. My daughter was truly loved and cared by the teachers.
