A Wild Animal Adventure – Hillview

The ChildFirst @ Hillview N2 children went on a wild animal adventure and what an exciting journey it was!

They began with the rhythmic and colourful story “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle. The children loved predicting the next animal, describing its colours and joining in with the repetitive lines.

Next came a mystery puzzle challenge! With just half a piece in hand, the children had to guess the hidden animal using clues like feathers, tails or paws. The energy soared during our animal puzzle relay game where teamwork, running and problem-solving shone through.

To wrap up, the children sorted the animals into their habitats: land, sea and sky. The children had a blast acting out the animals with sounds and movements. It was truly a fun-filled and meaningful way to revise and celebrate their learning!
