Importance of Traffic Safety – Hillview

The ChildFirst @ Hillview N2 children explored the importance of traffic safety through the engaging story “Look Left, Look Right, Look Left Again” by Ginger Pate. The story helped them understand why it is important to stay alert and make safe choices near roads. Together, they discussed key safety rules such as stopping at the curb, looking both ways and crossing with care. To reinforce their learning, the children practised these skills on the school’s mini roadway and during an outdoor walk. It was an enjoyable experience that connected classroom learning with real-world application and reinforced the children’s growing sense of responsibility for their own safety.
