Adventure At the Supermarket – Hillview

The ChildFirst @ Hillview PN and N1 children had an exciting adventure at the supermarket, where they learnt essential social skills such as walking in a line, using quiet voices and being respectful to others. As they explored the different sections, they discovered a variety of colourful fruits, fresh vegetables and different types of meat. The children pointed out familiar foods and were introduced to new ones, learning their names and origins.

They also practised simple counting and sorting by comparing the shapes, sizes and colours of produce. The highlight of the day came in the afternoon when they put their learning into action by creating a delicious fruit salad using the fruits they had purchased. This hands-on experience made their supermarket visit even more meaningful and fun!
